Shop BURKELMAN to create a home that excites, enhances and enlivens your everyday. We are a destination for distinctive modern design, homewares, furnishings, rugs, tableware, and textiles. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive nation-wide wedding registry service as well as design consulting for projects large and small. We are located in New York's Hudson Valley at 101 Main Street in Cold Spring, NY and online at shopburkelman.com.
We are Kevin Burke and David Kimelman, the co-owners and creators of BURKELMAN. After living in New York City for over 15 years and working in creative industries, David as a documentary and portrait photographer and Kevin as a creative executive for major fashion brands, we made the leap upstate to the Hudson Valley and merged our talents to create BURKELMAN.
We find our curation inspiration from flora, fauna, deep space, clean design, sustainability, the natural world, rambling gardens, old houses, modern interiors, pop art, the creative process, and the power of grey. We showcase and support original, talented artisans and their works from around the globe.
We are constantly seeking the right balance of family, work and leisure as we raise our twin sons, Maximiliano and Ulysses. As a husband and husband work team, we live and operate out of a nineteenth century farmhouse in New York's Hudson Valley where we shoot, style and quality check every item featured on the site and in the shop.
For those who appreciate novelty, the art of discovery and quality craftsmanship, we look forward to surprising and delighting you each day.
